In this video, we chat to HireUA Client Dakota Robertson about his recent experience hiring a virtual assistant via HireUA. He reckons he’s saving 20 hours a week (and a whole lot of the green stuff) by working with his new new VA.
Dakota talks about how his new virtual assistant, Kate, has been a godsend for his business. Paying her has been simple, the communication throughout the interview process was simple, and it’s been a smooth ride overall.
Hiring For Social Media Purposes
Dakota Robertson’s VA has been repurposing social media content — i.e. turning tweets into LinkedIn posts, engaging with potential clients, and running/engaging with his community, Growth Ghost.
In addition, compared to cheaper hires from other countries, his virtual assistant from Ukraine requires less supervision, hand-holding, and has a better grasp/understanding of critical situations. Kate’s saving him 10-20 hours a week, allowing him to focus on higher-leverage tasks and ultimately, make more money.
Ultimately, while social media is very profitable for many businesses these days, it’s easy for it to be a time-suck. Most business owners would be much better off focusing on outputting more content and then handing the reigns off to somebody else to do the management of said content.
Scheduling posts out, making sure the descriptions and tags are correct, and of course, re-purposing it to other channels is all very time-consuming and not a very high-leverage task.
You should write or create once, and publish everywhere.
But that doesn’t mean you should be doing all of the publishing and managing yourself.
It just doesn’t make sense.
