Little Miss Mau has three ways of getting to school.
The first is her push bike. She started on it at about a year and a half old, kicking along with her feet.
The second is her pedal bike. She rides it well and has never fallen. The switch from the push bike was flawless, knock on wood.
And the third, my least favorite…
The dreaded scooter.
Tiny wheels. It can’t handle gravel or sand. The balance point is weird. And she only gets one leg to push with, so she gets tired a lot faster.
Yesterday she came home and announced she wanted to ride the scooter to school.
So this morning took double the time. Up the hill, carrying the scooter, pushing her, the whole shebang.
The bright side? I got an extra 15 minutes talking with my kid.
Even if I was worried she’d kill herself half the time.
Now, here’s the thing.
A lot of founders like to hire the scooter way.
They go on Upwork. They go on Fiverr. They post on job boards and wade through a pile of horrible applicants.
Speaking of Upwork…
We’re hiring an internal sales rep right now. Just for kicks, we posted on Upwork to see what kind of quality we’d get.
The results have been less than stellar, so to speak.
You can choose to do it that way. You can ride the scooter that can’t get over a bit of gravel.
Or you can take the pedal bike and work with us.
We’ll show you at least five qualified candidates within five business days. And we guarantee the hire. On our monthly model you get unlimited replacements. On a direct hire you get our industry-leading guarantee, one year from their start date.
Book a call with the HireUA team and let’s get you on the bike
